EDUCATIONAL CHALLENGES, ASPIRATIONS AND PROPHETIC ILLUMINATIONS

Dar al-Zahra presents: ‘Our Children’ a full day conference on the educational challenges for our children in modern society. Prophetic guidance will be delivered by Hababa Mona Shaikh Alkaff.

Hababa Mona Shaikh AlKaff

She is from the lineage of the Prophet Muhammad and is therefore one of his blessed great granddaughters.

Born in Makkah Al-Mukarramah during the Holy Month of Ramadan to two noble parents from the progeny of the Noble Prophet (sallaAllahu alayhi wa sallam), Hababa Mona al-Kaff has been raised to love knowledge, the scholars and the righteous. The first person to nurture her soul and intellect, to show a concern for her, and with whom she studied many books of the pious predecessors was her father, the late Shaykh ibn Abu Bakr ibn Saadiq Alkaff who was taught the religious and spiritual sciences with a continuous chain back to the Prophet Muhammad (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) by the scholars of Tarim. After the Gnostic, the erudite scholar and guide al-Habib Abdul al-Qadir ibn Ahmad as-Saqqaf came to the Hijaaz (Saudi Arabia), her father always kept his company, so she grew up under his guardianship, studying and obtaining authorisation in da’wah – calling to Allah.

Studying under the guidance of the erudite scholar and guide al-Habib ‘Umar ibn Salim ibn Hafiz, Hababa Mona al-Kaff received authorisation to read the books of the Pious Predecessors and to call to Allah. Her teachers include al-Habib Husayn ibn Abdul Qadir as-Saqqaf whose classes and circles she attended since he came to the United Arab Emirates in 1998. From the books which she has studied with him are, al-Aqaa’idu from Ihya Uloom ud-Deen: The Tenants of Faith from The Revival of The Religious Sciences, Adaab us-Sulook ul-Mureed: The Manners of Wayfaring for The One Who Desires Allah, al-Wasiyya: The Counsel, as-Seerat un-Nabawiy: The Prophetic Biography, al-Hikam: The Wisdoms of Imam al-Haddad, Sifatu Salat il-Muqarabeen: The Description of the Prayer of Those Drawn Nigh, al-Fusul ul-Ilmiyyah: The Erudite Chapters, and Iydahu Asraar Uloom il-Muqarabeen: An Exposition of the Secrets of The Sciences of Those Drawn Nigh. She is currently studying Sahih Muslim and al-Tadhkirat ul-Hadramiyya: The Reminders from Hadramawt.

Hababa Mona al-Kaff has worked in the field of teaching for many years in the Hijaaz in Saudi Arabia. Upon moving to Abu Dhabi, she served as founder and director of Al-Bashaa’ir private school in Abu Dhabi from 1993 to 2000. She also served as the head of the Mothers’ Council at Shaykh Zayed Academy for girls from 2000 to 2004. Ustadha Om Rayyan has undertaken da’wah trips to many Arab States and to Asia and Africa for the propagation of Islam. Additionally, she has delivered many lectures about teaching, learning and wayfaring in schools, universities and women’s leagues in the United Arab Emirates. She currently serves as an advisor to the department of Endowments in Abu Dhabi, supervises a number of courses for children and young girls, and continues to do her utmost to serve in the field of da’wah while asking for sincerity from Allah, divine success and acceptance for her and for all of the Muslims.

The Prophet’s Ramadan (Shaykh Mohammed Aslam) @ Nottingham Tickets

The Prophet's Ramadan (Shaykh Mohammed Aslam) @ Nottingham @ Muslim Hands | England | United Kingdom

DESCRIPTION
Ramadan is the month in which Allāh revealed the Qur’an to His most noble and chosen Messenger. It is a month filled with innumerable blessings, mercies, and bounties. It is the month where the Muslims recite the Qur’an throughout the day and night, and re-introduce themselves to the Prophet who carried the Words of Allah in his chest and spread its wisdom to humanity through beauty, compassion, and majestic brilliance. Allah made it a month of mercy, forgiveness, du’a and multiplied rewards. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said “On the first night of the month of Ramadan, the devils are chained, the jinn are restrained, and the gates of Hell are closed and none of its gates are opened. The gates of Paradise are opened and none of its gates are closed. A caller announces: ‘O seeker of good, come near! O seeker of evil, stop short! Allah will save them from the Hellfire and that is during every night of Ramadan’.” (Tirmidhi) Ramadan is a perfect time for all of us who have transgressed against our own souls to reconnect to our Merciful Lord.

Our Master ‘Abdullah ibn ‘Abbas said, “The Messenger of Allah was the most generous of people and he was the most generous in the month of Ramadan.” (Bukhari) This is a period of open-heartedness and generosity. It is a period of kindness and compassion. It is a period of joy and happiness. The one who meets this month with an open heart shall be shown generosity by Allah. He shall have his heart filled with purity, his soul filled with light and his akhira enveloped in felicity.
