This event is for Muslim Teachers and anyone interested in the education of Muslim pupils. It will provide an opportunity to hear and meet a range of local, national and international inspirational speakers. We will be celebrating 40 years of the MTA; past achievements and the current educational climate. We will explore how the MTA can meet future challenges in a positive and proactive way using input from participants to help to shape the future direction and vision. You will have the opportunity to network with other Muslim professionals.

Keynote Speakers:

1. Amanda Spielman – Her Majesty’s Chief Inspector (HMCI). Responsible for Ofsted (Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills).

2. Sheikh Maurice Irfan Coles – Author of Every Muslim child Matters and Towards the Compassionate School.

3. Robin Richardson – Co-director of the Instead consultancy, former director of the Runnymede Trust, Chief inspector of education in the London borough of Brent and author of Islamophobia: a challenge for us all.

4. Sheikh Ibrahim Mogra – Imam from Leicester and Assistant Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Britain.
